Maggie is a Muggleborn 5th Year Gryffindor, and loves classes that involve memorization and concentration, like History of Magic, Potions, Ancient Runes and Astronomy. And not so much classes that involve pratical magic, especially Charms, Transfiguration and DADA. When not at school, she lives with her father and younger brother Thomas in West Cork, Ireland. Maggie lived with her family in Dublin until she was 9, and then moved to the coast where she fell in love with the ocean, and particularly daydreamed about travelling.

Her favourite thing to do is fly -- especially because that's the only practical magic she can really do without trying. In fact, she's so good she's a Chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team (this year and last year). In the mornings you can usually find her out for a run on the Hogwarts Grounds, otherwise you'll probably find her wandering around the grounds or hallways. She's up for talking to just about anyone -- well, except elisit purebloods of course, (despite the fact that she's warmed to some of them, and just won't admit it to herself.)

Maggie's also got Barn Owl named Blarney which you can use to send her an OWL here, or her Family here. But really, she doesn't want you to OWL her mother. Not that she'd tell you why.

Maggie, as wonderful as she is at memorizing dates and names, is not quite so excellent in remembering to keep her personal items locked away safely, and often leaves her things -- journal included -- left out. So just add her as a friend and read away! Feel free to write comments in the margins, although some of the entries will be charmed (no doubt after many attempts) as "personal entries."


Maggie's best friend in the whole world is Jul Agate, who she thinks the absolute world of. They both love Quidditch, and love each other. I know, sappy. But it's true. Maggie's glad that boys have finally noticed how amazing Jul is, but kind of wishes it wasn't so many at once, and tries to help Jul however she can. Any secret Maggie has, Jul'll know about it shortly.

Maggie's other best friend is Tybalt Raynard, a 7th year Gryffindor who she feels completely comfortable around. She jokes, flirts, laughs and cries with him. But mostly flirts. Maggie is very wary about who gets friendly with Ty. If she's a bird, he's a bird. They starting dating over a month ago after years of verbal copulation, and Maggie couldn't be happier about it.

Remy Cowan is a ridiculously strong force in Maggie's life. They dated for 5 months in her 3rd and 4th year, before having a very public breakup. They're back to being great friends now, and Maggie adores him unconditionally, no matter how many fights they get into. Even though both of them are currently dating other people, Maggie can't help but feel jealous of anyone attatched to Remy.

Maggie also adores Sam Jones, who she goes to get advice about boys (no offence to Jul, but she's never been particularly receptive to that topic), and they often talk about running away to a nunnery together. They're gotten really quite close since meeting in Maggie's fourth year.

Maggie and Zak Reso have known eachother since WAY BACK. They actually lived in the same apartment building in Dublin up until Maggie was 9, and caused all sorts of good trouble together. They generally get along great, and Zak knows a lot about Mags' childhood. But she's certainly been pissed off at him before. Well, really only when he's involved with Remy. With Danny Parker, on the other hand, she dislikes him all the time. But, as with Zak, especially because he's dating Remy.

Maggie is quite fond of Gavin Villafort, who dated Jul, but had to leave to take care of his mum. Jul is now "with" Jesse Martin, who Maggie quite likes, and thinks is a good match for Jul. But now that Gav is coming back, she can't help but feel like Gav might deserve another chance.

And of course, Mackenzie Wickham, who is Maggie's confidant and source for insight into the complicated web of 7th year Gryffindor boys. There's also Lucas Longshore, who Maggie does not want me to mention. Something about hating him.

Maggie was born July 20th, so she's a Cancer/Leo Cusp.
